Women’s Silent Weekend Retreat – “Encountering God in the Parables”

The theme of this year’s weekend retreats is “Encountering God in the Parables.” The five talks during the retreat will offer reflections on five different types of parables Jesus teaches in the Gospel books. Using the Lexio Divina practice of St. Clare of Assisi, the reflections offered on the parables will assist you in gazing upon the characters, considering the plots, contemplating God’s words and actions, and imitating God’s love and mercy as presented by Jesus in the parables. Join us to enter into a deeper reflection on the parables of Jesus and to be comforted by the life-giving message of Christ in the parables he has taught us.
